The department also determines if students are mentally gifted Special Education Services are provided to students with the following handicapping conditions:
Mentally Gifted students are a separate program outside of Special Education. However, the Special Education Department assesses those that may qualify for the Gifted Support Program. Developmental Delays (students ages 3 through 5 years/Early Intervention)
