The mission of the ADA is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all affected by diabetes. The ADA is an organization concerned with diabetes and its complications. To achieve this mission the ADA funds meritorious research publishes the latest scientific findings & urges lawmakers to support funding for research. Through volunteers at the local level, ADA provides support groups, seminars, public awareness campaigns, speakers bureau and health fairs, and distributes literature.

Eligibility: Individuals with diabetes.
