The Blair County Association for Citizens with Learning Disabilities is committed to: (1) educating the public concerning the problems of learning disabilities; (2) ensuring that each child is provided proper services by his/her school; (3) establishing programs to benefit the learning disabled; and (4) seeking early identification and intervention for the learning disabled.

PROGRAMS:

BLAIR COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR CITIZENS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES

Advocacy - Support and defense is given to insure that the system is responsive to the special education needs of developmentally disabled children and adults.

Information and Referral - Referring individuals for supportive services and supplying information and data about workshops, conferences, etc.

Legal Rights - Informing citizens of their legal rights to special learning disability services.

Tutoring - Summer tutoring program, 4 weeks, 2 hrs/day.
