The Council's purpose is to promote the general health and welfare of residents of Blair County. Membership is open to any individual or organization interested in participating in the activities of the Council. The Council meets 5 times a year at times and places specified by the president. Sept-Nov-Jan-March and May.

BLAIR COUNTY HEALTH & WELFARE COUNCIL
Activities include: Promoting communication among Council members and the coordination of community services and resources; sponsoring educational programs for providers of health and human services, participating in or conducting studies for human service needs; and evaluating present services and planning activities for new services.

Eligibility: Any interested person willing to participate in the activities of the Council.
