PROGRAMS: Low-cost spay-neuter program; educational programs in elementary, middle and high schools, and events such as spring yard sales, animal runs and animal fairs. Hours of operation: Monday - Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The CPHS Thrift Shop offers great bargains in a clean, well-lit large store with excellent and safe parking. The store offers carefully selected furniture items and increased lines of store "close out" merchandise, children's and women's wear, men's clothing, hardware, housewares, electronics as well as toys and games all at extremely low prices.
The store runs special sales often and occasionally offers special coupon discounts for shoppers. Donations are accepted only during times the shop is open. Due to the large volume of items, the store is unable to accept leftover yard/garage sale merchandise. We also cannot accept computer equipment or some related electronic items. The store accepts clean "in style" clothing, toys, infant and children's wear, household items (in good condition), knick-knacks, games and furniture (please call to arrange for any furniture donations). The Thrift Shop is staffed by one part-time Manager and over a dozen volunteers who give their time to sort, price, inventory, stock and handle clerk duties. Volunteers are always welcome and needed. Experience is not necessary, just a "good attitude" and the ability to work well with others. Those who are able to volunteer at least four hours per week are eligible for major discounts on regular priced store merchandise.
