The Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central Pennsylvania (EFWCP) is a non-profit organization serving people with epilepsy/seizure disorders, their families and other concerned individuals in western and central Pennsylvania.  The EFWCP is dedicated to providing education and services related to prevention and control, advocating for individual rights and promoting independence and optimal quality of life for persons with epilepsy/seizure disorders.

PROGRAMS:
The EFWCP provides information to children, adults, families and professionals through its Epilepsy Resource Library; offers seizure recognition and first aid training for students, school personnel, social service organizations, police departments and other concerned individuals; provides workshops for patients and family members to learn more about epilepsy; offers individual and family consultation, education advocacy, and telephone support; offers employment assistance; and can give referrals to other community services.   Other programs include Camp Frog, a summer camp for children grades 4-12 with epilepsy; a teen retreat for high school students; and annual informational and socialization events for families.
