Agency Type: Non-Profit La Leche League is for support to breast feeding. Informal meetings are held monthly. Any pregnant or nursing mom with baby is welcome. Telephone counseling and advice/information are available during the day and evening hours. La Leche League Leaders are certified and experienced volunteers. PROGRAMS: LA LECHE LEAGUE: Informal monthly meetings in the Altoona Area are open to women interested in breast feeding and those who are currently breast feeding. Telephone counseling, information, and encouragement is also provided.
