REQUIREMENTS:

Male, primarily 21 years old and above (under 21 will be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Must have a treatable handicap which includes but is not limited to emotional, alcohol and drug addictions and homelessness. NOTE: Applicant must be DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE before admission to the program.

PROGRAM

The agency offers a well-rounded six months to a year recovery program to include counseling, worship services, Bible studies, AA and NA meetings, AIDS education, GED, higher education through OVR and work therapy sessions. The six-phase program allows clients to be challenged with several goals within each phase.

The agency also provides lodging, meals, clothing and physical fitness through outside and inside activities and sports.

Various programs/lectures are also available through the help of professional volunteers on many areas of humanity.

The Salvation Army is a Christian organization focusing on spiritual revitalization hence Bible study and worship services are a vital part of the program.

Eligibility: Pre-admission telephone interview is REQUIRED. Program is offered free of charge to those without income; is offered on a sliding scale to others.
