SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT
The Single Point of Contact (SPOC) program is designed to serve welfare recipients who, after an initial 8-week job search, are unable to find employment. The goal is help program participants obtain self-sufficiency through job placement and job retention. Individuals may be enrolled in the program for up to one year, not counting job search and job retention.
The following services may be provided for SPOC participants:
- Case Management
- Supportive Services
- Career Exploration
- Life Skills
- Basic Education/GED Instruction
- Skill Training
- Paid Work Experience
- Subsidized Payment
- Job Search/Job Readiness/Job Development
