Agency Type: Non-Profit Technical & Financial Assistance is available to farmers for implementation of Best Management practices to address soil, water, and nutrient concerns. Landowners, private industry and units of government are provided with technical information. USDA, NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE Assistance to manage soil and water related resources. Volunteer opportunities consist of: help with field surveys and planning conservation measures on the land, present conservation programs in schools, work with the organizations to promote conservation, help keep the public informed of local conservation concerns. Eligibility: Farmers are eligible for technical & financial assistance.
