- The Hollidaysburg Area YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the development of healthy spirit, mind and body. The YMCA has been serving the local community since 1912.
- Each year, thousands of dollars of membership and program scholarships are given to those in need. It is through the collaborative efforts of national and local organizations, contributors and volunteers that the Y can stand behind its claim as a "leading community charity".
A Great Place to Grow!
- State licensed childcare from six weeks through sixth grade.
- Each childcare room has an atmosphere that is conducive to a child's sense of exploration, while still having a feeling of warmth and security. Childcare programs offered in a nurturing, positive YMCA environment providing safety, support and care.
- The Hollidaysburg YMCA has been awarded Stars in Pennsylvania's Keystone Stars program. This program recognizes childcare providers that exceed state health and safety licensing requirements.

- With a range of offerings such as summer camps, preschool, exercise for people with disabilities, creative dance, youth sports, family programming, swimming lessons, free tutoring, Silver Sneakers and Youth Job Service, we touch the lives of nearly every Blair County resident.
- THe YMCA seeks to enhance the quality of life for everyone through programs that improve water safety skills for children and teens, encourage positive behavior in the areas of physical fitness, stress management, and fellowship and cooperate with other community organizations to increase our community's effectiveness.
